Can I parse email body into MS Access/Excel??

I have an email account for receipts. Each receipt is identical. I would like to send these receipts to MS access or Excel as data. Is there a programme add-on or any way this can work with out custom code?

Thanks

If the data in the receipt email is laid out conveniently you could do it simply with copy-and-paste. I've just tried it with an email in which there are three columns of data separated by spaces. I highlighted and copied them, then used 'paste special' to get them into a LibreOffice spreadsheet. The spreadsheet import wizard let me select 'space' as the delimiting character, with the result that the data ended up in adjacent columns of the sheet. If your receipt email has the data already in an HTML table I guess the import would be even easier. If you're looking for a way to do this automatically, with large numbers of emails, I don't know of one.

Install ImportExportTools (how to install) and see if the csv export function provides a useful format. Select a set of messages, right-click, Save selected messages/Spreadsheet (CSV) or just index (CSV). Or, right-click a folder, ImportExportTools/Export all messages in the folder....

I think it would be hard to find an existing tool custom written for the specific receipts that you are getting, but you might find one that can be configured to recognize the table columns and rows you want to extract, assuming the data in the messages is tabular.
