Hi Everyone,

When I was an Outlook 2007 user, I was able to <highlight> <right-click> and the properties of the selected incoming email would be revealed.

There doesn't appear to be the same opportunity in TB, or am I missing something, somewhere?

Help would be appreciated.

Thank you,

Ian

I've never used Outlook so I don't know what properties you have in mind. In Thunderbird you can do View > Headers > All (default is 'Normal') which shows much more information about date, importance, encoding etc. You can also do View > Message Source (or ctrl + u) which shows you the actual characters received by Thunderbird including the message transmission details. If there's some particular bit of information you want to see please come back to the forum and we'll try to help you.

Hi amanchesterman.

Thank you for your extremely rapid response, as well as providing the correct solution to my problem.

How stupid was I not to have looked under "View" ??? So obvious, it is embarassing to admit I hadn't done so.

Thank you again for the solution.

Ian
