Chosen solution

  1. This is the Thunderbird support forum, not the Apple forum
  2. Whether to choose IMAP or POP is entirely up to you. It would certainly help to understand the differences between the two protocols - Google is your friend. In general, when accessing an account from multiple devices IMAP is usually the better choice.
  3. I'm not sure what you mean with 'Mozilla email'. You do have an account with an email provider (e.g. Google in case of Gmail), but Mozilla isn't your email provider. If you use Thunderbird, that's an email client you use to retrieve mail from your provider's server. If in doubt, check with your email provider about the correct server settings for the iPhone.
