cant find my password for thunderbird
Hi, I am trying to set up a new computer with thunderbird. I run thunderbird on my old computer but cant find my password to allow me to re-install.

You could just copy your profile over and avoid all this messing about with account settings.

If your old Thunderbird is still working, stored passwords can be found under Tools|Options|Security|Passwords→Saved Passwords

Which part of installing Thunderbird requires you to provide a password?
Where it asks if I want a new email address - I select skip this and use my existing email - at that point it asks for existing email address and password
