I have Lighting integrated with Thunderbird...When receiving invites and updates with .ics files, I get the message: "No writable calendars are configured for invitations. Please check calendar configuration". The configuration has:

Location: googleapi://NAME@DOMAIN.com/?calendar=NAME%DOMAIN.com (NAME/DOMAIN are properly rendered for my email.) Read Only = off Show Reminders = "on"

I read a similar post and the person mentions using the Google API, but doesn't mention which version: ics, CalDav, or Google Calendar (which is how I configured it).

Here is debug info:

You need to assign an email address to the calendar. Right-click the calendar - Properties.

The email address must be the same as the one the invitation was sent to.

Not sure where to apply the email address...the only fields I see are:

Calendar Name Color Location (this seems to be formed correctly with the correct email) Refresh Calendar=60 minutes Readonly=off Show Reminders=on.

Am I missing it?

Thanks!

Try to delete the calendar in Lightning and restart Thunderbird. Then re-create it. Not using the Provider add-on here, but I'd expect it to work the same as CalDAV in that regard.
