I click on my download tab and it pops up fine but, then i go to click on my download history (because i am downloading more then just three things) and it won't open. I tried opening a new window i tried restarting firefox and i upgraded already to the latest version. I'm not sure what else to try.

Your System Details shows Firefox 33 please confirm.

History and cookies can be removed or not recorded several ways;

  • 1) Running Firefox in Private Mode (nothing is recorded)
  • 2) Privacy settings
    (Type about:preferences#privacy<enter> in the address bar.)
  • 3) Many disk cleaners and anti-virus type programs can remove data from browsers. Open their settings and have them leave the browsers alone.
  • 4) Mal-ware.

Places Maintenance {web link} Allows to run Maintenance tasks on the database that drives Places, the bookmarks and history module behind Firefox.

Open the Add-ons Manager. Locate the add-on and press the Options button. Then follow the directions.

You seem to be running the Firefox version from the Ubuntu repositories.

Do you meet the System Requirements for the current Firefox release?
