I am trying to upload files to space provided by my ISP. According to their instructions after going to the proper ftp:// URL and entering the password, all I need to do is drag the file onto the browser page. When I do that Firefox just opens the path on my machine and views the file instead of uploading it to the server.

Try using this extension to add that feature to Firefox. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/fireftp/

Thanks, I didn't see it when I looked for add-ons. Works great.
