How Can I Open a Link in Read Mode?

I know many sites have an option - I don't know what it's officially called - to clear out some of the animation, zooming, sheering, columns, etc.

I have sensory processing issues and migraines, so these things can be very painful for me.

I sometimes open a site, and get hit by these things before I can even switch to read mode. So is there some way to select a link and open it in read mode? Is there some way to configure Firefox so it opens everything in read mode unless I choose to switch out of that mode?
