I'm trying to help my boss filter e-mails incoming in Thunderbird so that they get deleted immediately - for example any e-mails that come from Avant Resources. I explained this is just a display name, and I personally don't use Thunderbird so I don't know if the "From" filter includes the display name or only reads the domain. I've attached a screenshot of the filter, and I just want to know if this filter as it's set up should be deleting any e-mail that has that display name or if we should be doing something differently. Whenever I try to run it it doesn't seem to make a difference, the e-mail remains and I'm making sure to run it on the correct folder. Any ideas? I apologize if this has been answered before, I have not been able to find an answer to the question, unfortunately.
