thunderbird address book contacts date problem
When trying to set a date for a contact birthday, the result always displays as 'dd-Oct- nn' , where the 'nn' is always the number of the month, i.e. '10 October 1997' shows as '10-Oct- 10' and, '24 July 1999' shows as '24-Oct- 07'

check the long and short date formats for your operating system.
Checked date formats, still have same problem. Current formats are: [would like to add a screenshot of 'Region and Language' screen, but the 'Add images' <Browse...> button at Mozilla support does nothing]. Short date: dd-MMM-yy Long date: dd,MMMM,yy Short time: h:mm:tt Long time: h:mm:ss:tt First day of week: Monday
I tried other settings, and updated Lightning (in case), but still same problem.
Are you typing in the date of birth or using the calendar widget? Is there an issue if you start Thunderbird holding the shift key to enter safe mode?
BTW there is a size limit on files uploaded. Usually saving them as PNG will make them small enough.
