Firefox Sync on different desktops \ list of sync'd data \ any way to see what we've sync in our accounts?
Good day to u, community members! Have a very tiny but really important (i think, not only for me) question. Will there be any chance to see in https://accounts.firefox.com/settings?uid=etc what we're sync'in (i mean list of tabs, password section, session etc)? For example we have submenu in 'History' - 'Bookmarks from other devices'. There i can see what bookmarks i have on other device.
But no way to see passwords, preferences, history, active session. Will the devs introduce such features in next versions of Sync?
Also, some possibilities to separate one device from other? ( i have 4 PC's , for 2 of them i need to sync only bookmarks, tabs & passwords, on other 2 - only bookmarks & tabs). Now, if i want to work with such way i need to create 2 different Sync Profiles for each pair of those PC's.

Sorry, the saved data on the Sync server is encrypted and can't be read by anyone while it is one the server, or even outside of a Firefox browser. Encryption is done on the upload to the Sync server and de-cryption is done when the data comes back from the Sync server as it arrives in a Firefox installation. The "key" remains inside of Firefox, it isn't sent to the Sync server - no one has access to that "key" but you, and it is inside of Firefox saved in Firefox Account credentials in the Password field.
As far as that being possible in the future - slim to no chance. For that to be possible Sync would need to be completely rewritten to change the encryption protocol. Just not something the Sync developers ever wanted as a feature.
Each Firefox installation can be set up for what is synchronized, in Options > Sync. Select any or all - Tabs, Bookmarks, Passwords, History, Add-ons, Preferences.
Separate what gets sync'd however you want or use 2 different Sync accounts for each pair or PC's. You can even setup the same Firefox version on one PC with separate Profiles and have separate data on each Profile with a separate Sync account for each Profile. But the combination you asked about 2 and 2 syncing the same data, but 2 getting more being sync'd can be done with one account. Just de-select the data types you don't want sync'd on 2 devices.
As far as your 2nd question about separate or different Add-ons per device; de-select Add-ons if you don't want Add-ons to be synchronized or once they are synchronized to not have them get deleted when you uninstall an Add-on on another device (or de-select Add-ons on the device you want to remove an Add-on from so that 'action' doesn't get sent to the Sync server and then to your other devices).

Tested out add-on sync :D Deleted few add-ons on my home PC which were downloaded after sync, same add-ons were deleted on my work PC (where i need them). Device separation feature would be really good&helpfull in newer versions of FF.

Thx a lot for your answers that fullfilled my curiosity. Let's hope that one day enc protocol will be re-written. Have a nice day\night :D
