Thunderbird asking for Administrator password. I give it and it says no good. How do i get around this?
I am trying to download Thunderbird on Windows 7. When I click "Run" it extracts it and then a "Run as" window pops up. My choices are myself and Administrator. I've tried both. Neither work. I've googled how to find the administrator password. That is what I am using and it is give me a login failure: unknown user name or bad password. When I select myself under the Run as window the window disappears and nothing happens.

Sounds like you have set yourself up with a standard user account which does not have the permission to download and install programs.
Set your Windows user account as administrator or when booting up login to admin account.
Here is something I found on google. http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/enable-the-hidden-administrator-account-on-windows-vista/ http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_7-security/lost-administrator-password-on-windows-7-any-way/d431ba57-7d25-4699-9ad2-5aa10d3e7fde?auth=1
