switch user
I tried to launch mozilla firefox like always just double click and it opens this time a pop came out asking me to select a user i choose 1 out of the two i feel like i might've selected the wrong one due to fact I'm missing several of my bookmarks and things like that i don't know how to go change user?

You might have seen Firefox's Profile Manager. I suggest quitting out of Firefox and starting up the Profile Manager to see whether that's what it was, and you can try the other profile. This article has the steps:
Profile Manager - Create, remove or switch Firefox profiles
Please do not delete anything in the profile manager because it's way too easy to delete the wrong thing!
Can you get back to your normal settings?

Note that the Profile Manager window has a checkbox "Use the selected profile without asking at startup".
You can check if there is more than one profile folder in the location used for profiles.
- ~/Library/Application Support/Firefox/Profiles/<profile>/
On Mac ~/Library is a hidden folder.
