Thunderbird only downloads 38 e-mails at one time

When I hit Send/Recieve only 38 messages Headers get downloaded, so I have to hit Send/Recieve multiple times until all essages from that account are on my computer. I have to do that on every Account I have.

yahoo account? If so, the problem is yahoo - they've had systemic problems the last few weeks.
