I have 3 accounts; gmail, hotmail and a plusnet account. The hotmail address only always makes 2 copies of my sent emails, even though I believe I have the same settings for each account

Chosen solution

Under Tools/Account Settings/hotmailaccount/Copies & Folders, uncheck "Place a copy in" since Hotmail/live/outlook accounts automatically copy sent messages to the Sent folder. Same with Gmail.

Many thanks, problem solved. I am however annoyed with myself for not thinking of that myself!
