Is Firefox 38.0.5 a 32-bit or 64-bit browser; and where can I find this info?
I'm running on Windows XP and need to update Java.
Chosen solution
Use 32bit Java. Maybe ask yourself do you even need Java ? If you do you may need to remove older versions
- Use the Java plugin to view interactive content on websites#w_manual-install-or-update
That is along article. Scroll for more information. - http://kb.mozillazine.org/JavaScript_is_not_Java

Firefox is normally a 32bit browser on Windows regardless of whether you use 32bit or 64bit Windows.
You appear to be using 32 bit Windows XP
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1; rv:38.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/38.0
There are 64 bit versions of Firefox for Windows available, but intended for developers etc. at the moment. Windows Firefox 64 bit should be released later this year.
