When connecting to an internal site, firefox gives sec_error_invalid_time. ASN1Parse of the certificate in question gives following values:

  68:d=2 hl=2 l= 30 cons: SEQUENCE
  70:d=3 hl=2 l= 13 prim: UTCTIME           :140110070909Z
  85:d=3 hl=2 l= 13 prim: UTCTIME           :160110070909Z

We can immediately see that cert should be valid, and firefox says

The certificate will not be valid until 10.1.2014 9:09. The current time is 1.7.2015 9:10. (Error code: sec_error_invalid_time)

Firefox version 38.0.5, Windows 8.1 x64. Server version: Apache/2.2.3 SSL version: openssl-0.9.8e-31.el5_11

There was a hot second added to some of the machines, but I do not think that this would affect it. I would highly recommend asking the security list:
