system details: OS : window xp, 32bit x86, service pack 3 firefox version : 38.0.5

Hi i have two profile on facebook. But firefox does not let me use them. I can access only one profile. for the other one it says "close your browser window and try again". And I have tried hundreds time even have restarted the system. I have Refreshed the firefox even but nothing works. MORE WIERED : MY FRIENDS CAN USE FACEBOOK ON MY SYSTEM BUT I CAN NOT.

SNAPSHOT IS ATTACHED. PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME SO THAT I CAN USE MY BOTH FACEBOOK PROFILE.

HI Saurabh.b, Since Facebook is usable by other accounts on the computer, please contact Facebook support to inquire about the account giving you this issue.

To make sure its not a Firefox issue, check to make sure that there is not a corrupt cookie.

  1. Open up about:permissions in a new window
  2. Search for Facebook.com
  3. Click "Forget this Site"
  4. Restart Firefox and try again.
