Hi All:

Is there a vetting process for Add Ons that reviews code for nefarious ulterior motives?

Hi All: Is there a vetting process for Add Ons that reviews code for nefarious ulterior motives?

Chosen solution

Add-ons offered via the official website are checked over and vetted by Mozilla.

And they are all open-source, so anyone is welcome to download and pore over the source code to see what it does. (Not that many of us can actually make any sense of it. ;-) )

Have you had any particular experience to prompt you to ask this question?
