A box appears when I start Thunderbird asking if I want to send my unsent mails but I don't recall having any so wanted to look at the mails to see what they are. But I have been unable to do that. Can anyone provide idiot-proof instructions so I can see these mails please ?

Thank you very much. Interesting though. I had quickly looked there and hadn't recognized the mails as unsent because they were both actually just a copy of one incoming mail to which I had actually replied, the reply including the incoming mail is in my Sent Box. Not at all sure how that happened but immediate problem solved. Again, many thanks.

Look in the Outbox. This is a folder under Local Folders.
