Has worked consistently for 4 years, and still does on my old MacbookAir. But will not connect on a new MacbookPro although the settings are the same, and I have to use webmail.

Chosen solution

Have you checked the username and password? If either is wrong, the connection will not be made.

Actually still not solved, and a professional computer problem firm spent a week trying. Said they 'weren't allowed in' - could not stop the repeated demands. I'll have to use the johnlewisbroadband web site for mail !!

Any idea what "weren't allowed in means?

Or what " could not stop the repeated demands." means.

Please go to the help menu and select troubleshooting information on your old machine. Copy and paste the account info into a message here.

Then repeat on your new one.

I am not prepared to admit there is no solution. There has to be.
