Have purchased a new note book and the emails have not transferred correctly. I get the subject info and who from but no email content (blank) when I click on the email to open it.

re :the emails have not transferred correctly.

Can you offer a bit more info?

Transfered from where ?

  • What was the old computer OS?
  • What type of mail account was on old computer...Pop or IMAP ?

Basic setup info on new note book:

  • What OS is on Notebook?
  • What type of mail account have you created on new notebook...Pop or IMAP ?

When you say 'transfered', what exactly did you do?

  1. Did you copy paste the 'Profiles' folder and 'profiles.ini' file ?
  2. Did you copy paste the entire 'contents' of the 'profile folder name' into a new 'profile folder name' overwriting the default files and folders?
  3. Did you create a new profile, add mail accounts and then copy paste an mbox file from old profile on old computer?
