I recently downloaded and began to use Thunderbird. Today, 2 subfolders "appered" under one of my email accounts, not on the yahoo server. What gives?

2 files, one SC ..... and I don't know the other, were listed under one of my yahoo accounts. I cannot delete the folders, they do not appear on the yahoo server and searching I came up with iTunes folders (why in my email?) or a harmless bug. I removed Thunderbird from my system, iOS 10.10.3.

well as you have removed Thunderbird there is nothing in a diagnostic way we can do to assist. I was going to ask for a screen shot but that is now impossible.

Sorry, I freaked out because I couldn't delete the folders. Afterwards I realized I wasn't giving you much information but thought that you might have seen this before. I will reinstall and see if it happens again. I did like Thunderbird for the short time that I used it. Does thunderbird create any folders in yahoo mail file structure?

Thunderbird adds nothing. It does however expose the yahoo messenger saved conversations folder which for some reason Yahoo store on the IMAP server.
