When I hit reply, I get an email back saying "failed to deliver" rejected. This problem just started recently on all reply's.

Diagnostic-code: smtp;553 5.3.0 206.46.173.21 Your message was rejected for possible spam/virus content.

The Verizon mail server rejected your message for the above reason. Sounds like your IP is on some sort of black list. You'll need to talk to your email provider. This has got nothing to do with Thunderbird.
