VLC for Android beta is a older version at 1.0.0 ? as VLC for Android is at 1.2.3 https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.videolan.vlc

Yet the http://www.videolan.org/vlc/download-android.html page lists current version as 0.9.10

As far as I know VLC has never released an Android plugin.

They do have a VLC for Android beta in the Google Play Store now
