Autofilling in Firefox android?

agvn1996

First things first; Firefox runs on my PC and my android because it is simply the best! Is there an autofill option in android and if so how do I set it up? Also are there any plans to bring Firefox to ios? Your prompt response is greatly appreciated! Kudos to you and your team for the ultimate browsing experience! Thank you! Sincerely, Anthony

hi anthony, thank you for your kind words & support :))

i'm not entirely sure what you're referring to by autofill - firefox for android should store your search/form history and passwords and will provide search suggestions through the default search provider (if you choose so). do you have any particular problem with those? an yes, mozilla is working on a firefox product for ios that will be released later this year: Is Firefox available for iPhone or iPad in my language?

Thanks for your reply Philipp! What I mean by "auto fill" is basically the form filling of name, address, date of birth, etc on android. I do a lot of filling out forms online and was hoping there was a quicker way to do so?

I think Firefox remembers form information on a website-by-website basis. If you wanted to have it fill forms on different websites, I think you would need an add-on.

A growing number of add-ons are available on Android, but many of your old favorites are not because they were designed with a large screen and desktop operating system in mind and would be difficult to adapt to Android.

You can search for compatible add-ons using:

menu > Tools > Add-ons > "Browse all Firefox add-ons"
