
blank page on Galaxy S5 Android v5 and Firefox v36.0.1
I am using a Samsung Galaxy S5 running Android version 5.0 . Along with the Chrome browser (which is working just fine) I also have installed, and am attempting to run (with problems) Firefox version 36.0.1
When I type in the Facebook web address - or in fact any other web page - the Firefox browser only shows me a blank white page.
Along with this, at the top of the screen and just to the right of the address line is a small box with the figure 1 indicated to show that I only have only page open. If I tap on this box it shows a small window with an orange outline. Futhermore, the small box that is being shown actually shows the Facebook page that I am attempting to access.
I attach a couple of screenshots that I have put together in one document using Photoshop. The 'blank page' text I have inserted otherwise there would be nothing to see lol.
Thanks and hoping that you shall be able to help as this is becoming somewhat frustrating.

I have this problem as well. Uninstalling and reinstalling seems to have worked but DO NOT sync with your account. For whatever reason something on my desktop settings interferes with Android but because of the blank screen I can't shut stuff down to see what it is!

Clear your browsing history and other personal data on Firefox for Android
Please check to make sure that there are no add ons that have been added to Firefox that might be affecting
Have tried clearing browsing history etc along with actually uninstalling Firefox altogether at one point but all to no avail. I did notice that there was an update Firefox app this morning (36.0.2) and was hoping that would have solved the problem. Sadly this has not been the case and the white screen problem still persists. :-(
Are there any pending operating system updates?
