I do not ever again want Firefox to make a window pop up over whatever else I am doing, just to let me know a new version is available. How do I disable this?

I can't tell you how annoying it is, and how unprofessional of firefox to make a pop up that disturbs me from other work. It doesn't happen often, but I don't want it to ever happen again. Please help.

You can prevent autoupdate and nags by going into about:config and setting these: app.update.auto -> false app.update.enabled -> false app.update.silent -> false
