I do not ever again want Firefox to make a window pop up over whatever else I am doing, just to let me know a new version is available. How do I disable this?

You can prevent autoupdate and nags by going into about:config and setting these: app.update.auto -> false app.update.enabled -> false app.update.silent -> false
