How can I receive e-mail notifications when Firefox is updated?

more options

My company runs a SaaS application and Firefox is the only browser we support. We have some enterprise customers that would have to push Firefox updates to all their machines when Firefox is updated, but right now their system is only set up to do that with another browser. We decided a solution for us going forward would be to send a notification out to all customers when Firefox is updated to ensure they are moving to the newest version once we complete our application testing on the new version.

Is there any way to receive a quick e-mail notification each time the browser is updated? This would help us track this, without having to worry about dropping everything we're doing to release an update message as soon as we get a "there is a new version" notification in Firefox.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Hi, You can set your Firefox browser update to notify you. When you enable this, your update will not install unless you click on that message. To do so follow this link:

  • From your Firefox menu ≡ , Go to Options
  • Then go to Advance > Update
  • Then from the Firefox Updates Chose Check for updates, but let me choose whether to install them
