The above comment is partially true. The support for ARMv6 was dropped and the Kindle does not have Google Play.

You can manually install it though the Release and Beta does not get updates if installed this way. http://download.cdn.mozilla.net/pub/mozilla.org/mobile/releases/35.0/

Though it is said to use the Aurora channel builds if installing manually so as to get updates. https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/channel/#developer
