after trying to download the 2015 Firefox offers4u attached to every aspect of it I have removed Firefox and tried to reinstall multiple times with the same result. I can no longer use Firefox because of this problem and I am sure it is not attached to my computer as I have no problem with "explorer" , Only with Firefox. I enjoy Firefox and want it back but not willing to risk offers4u spam adds blocking everything I do it needs to die a horrible death Just not in my computer. Thank You Philip DiR.

Firefox for Windows, Mac OSX and Linux from www.mozilla.org/firefox/all is completely clean as it does not come with extras like this offers4u virus you claim.

en-US Firefox Setup 35.0.1.exe from www.mozilla.org/firefox/all gave Detection ratio: 0 / 57 https://www.virustotal.com/en/file/d96424c58d8fd181679487aa92640e1f02c0ac0e19ff7315cbd91c2a8d60cee9/analysis/1422864435/

Sometimes a problem with Firefox may be a result of malware installed on your computer, that you may not be aware of.

You can try these free programs to scan for malware, which work with your existing antivirus software:

Microsoft Security Essentials is a good permanent antivirus for Windows 7/Vista/XP if you don't already have one.
