Can't stop annoying "You are about to close __ tabs , confirm close" window from showing up

When trying to close multiple tabs, the close confirm window still comes up after I've unchecked it to in the settings. Really getting on my nerves. Would appreciate any advice

You can check these prefs on the about:config page:

  • browser.tabs.warnOnCloseOtherTabs
  • browser.tabs.warnOnClose

You can open the about:config page via the location/address bar. You can accept the warning and click "I'll be careful" to continue.
