How can I copy and paste from Google "Keep"? Whenever i try, the copied text doesn't get copied on the Firefox clipboard, it copies to my 'default' clipboard.
I can't get the Firefox clipboard to appear when i try to copy from Google Keep. Please help, thanks.

Hi again LvScience:
(jsoulless40's advice (thanks js40!) of trying the desktop site in Firefox when using the Keep web app is fine but i think you are using the Keep App right, not the web app version right?)
Thanks for the device info: "Android OS is 4.1.2 on a Samsung Rugby Pro". I don't have that tablet but I do have two android samsung tablets running 4.x
I should have asked before:
What exact steps where you following when you copied and pasted into a "newly opened document"
My steps were (on my Samsung Tab S 10 running 4.4.2):
- in Firefox selected and then copied some text
- switched to Google's Keep app
- successfully pasted the text in Keep into the "Add quick note", also tapped on the new note icon and pasted the text into a new note

The Keep app or the website in Firefox? If I try to access keep.google.com and copy, Firefox crashes. Try the app.
Well, I'm confused now. I should've worded my question more clearly. When I'm using the Firefox web browser, and I copy something, I can't then paste it to Keep. Google Play store says that I have the Keep app installed already. Do you mean there's an app for Firefox, instead of the browser? Thanks
Hi LvScience:
Thanks for posting what you did. I think that cleared up any confusion.
Here's what I did on a Nexus 5 running Android Lollipop 5.0.1 Firefox 35
- in Firefox copied a link
- switched to Google's Keep app
- pasted the link successfully in Keep into the search notes field
What version of Android OS are you running, what tablet or phone and where in Keep did you try pasting?
If the problem is pasting in Keep then that sounds like a Google Keep problem not a Firefox problem because once Firefox copies to the Android clipboard successfully, then the rest of the activities happen in the Operating System and then in the Keep app.
Cheers!

Thanks for your help Roland. Android OS is 4.1.2 on a Samsung Rugby Pro (it's ruggedized... I'm a klutz) and I tried to paste on a newly-opened document on Keep. Does that help? Thx again.
I too receive the same issue, was able to work around by changing the option in the Firefox browser to request desktop site. Was then able to copy and paste into and out of Google keep without use of "Keep App" maybe that works for anyone else.

That last part worked, plate it into "quick note" Thanks all of you for your help. LvScience
