no you can not do that. You can sync any web calendar that supports web dav to lightning, but Microsoft have chosen to not use the open standard and instead only offer a Microsoft Proprietary interface. Nothing new here though. They only offered a Microsoft Proprietary interface to download mail for many years. They call it innovation. I call it vendor lock in.

Interestingly enough you can sync office 365 calendar via OWA but not outlook.com

If i understand correctly, there are couurently changes going on in Microsoft and i hope someone has more Details. As i also would like to use the calendar(s) and contacts of an Outlook.com eMail address - in my case a "Microsoft account" with an @live.de address, i wonder if chances are now good to be able to do this?

Aparantly Microsoft is planning to Combine Outlook.com with Office365 i.e. they say something that they will migrate all Outlook.com accounts to Office365. I don't know any Details about the protocols, for instance, someone suggested that the Support for DeltaSync could be dropped which would make WindowsLiveMail useless, thats one of the reasons why i want to migrate to Thunderbird.

Now, i have just installed the latest Thunderbird Version that his lightning integrated, then i added the add-on

Ericsson Exchange EWS Provider ver. 3.4.0-beta4

and now i am hoping that it will be possible to use EWS with an Outlook.com address. Somehow These URLs look something like

https://microsoft-providerpart.com/EWS/Exchange.asmx

So far all my tests failed - for calendar as well as contacts.

However, is there a Chance that this might work, does anyone have some Details?
