I'm running Win Vista basic on a 32 bit pc. Chrome and IE are working properly but, in the last two days, Firefox 35.0 won't fully load my Xfinity home page. In certain cases, opening FF produces only a blank new tab and screen.

I have cleared cache and cookies and reinstalled Firefox. I also did these Windows updates on Jan. 16: three Vista security, one Windows malicious software removal tool and one Microsoft.net Framework for Vista. If I start FF in safe mode or if I already have one FF window open (showing Xfinity home page) and try to open a second FF browser window, FF responds with a blank tab/screen.

Assuming I open just one FF page, most Xfinity home page content is there and can be accessed normally. I cannot signin though. "Loading" appears above the My Account link at the top of the left side box and that link is inactive. The black bar spanning the top of the page that contains links for email, support, signin, etc., is blank.

The 155 KB .jpg home page screenshot would not upload
