How do I print to file? When I try to print to file and name the output file, I receive an error "Local Port | Could not open the file: Access is denied."
I'm trying to print a receipt to a PDF since a printer is currently unavailable to me, but I am getting an error that is preventing me from printing to file. Please see attached screenshots in chronological order.
Since I am unable to add images directly to this question (page gets hung up trying to upload a 107 KB .jpeg), the screenshots are listed below in the following links:

Hi m.patterson,
A suitable workaround may be to sidestep the printer software by using some print to pdf add on such as:
- Print pages to PDF https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/print-pages-to-pdf
Home http://printpdf.pf-control.de/index.php/en/help.html - Alternatives https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/fire.../?q=print%20to%20pdf

I've called the big guys to help you. Good luck.
That's not how to print to a PDF file.
Printer -> Name: = select your PDF "printer" from the drop-down menu

That's what I thought initially, but that option isn't available for some reason.
You want to save an image? Right click it and select Save As . . .
To save the whole page, right click any empty area, select Save Page As

If you don't have a PDF "printer" installed, you should install one.
Your choice of which PDF printer utility program to install - but here's a Firefox add-on: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/print-pages-to-pdf/ It's currently a "Featured" addon. Never used it myself, though.

Thanks. When I was using Chrome I was able to print to PDF from printer drop down menu like the-edmeister suggested, but I've since switched to Firefox and I was a little confused why that option wasn't available from the drop down menu. If an add-on gives me that capability I'm all for it.
Hope everyone has a Happy New Year btw!
