When i open an attached file from an email, thunderbird puts a copy of the file on my desktop. I can´t seem to get thunderbird to stop. I use the image viewer to see the file or picture. I have an imac computer.

Ah! "I have an imac computer".

This is a common complaint with Thunderbird users on macs. It seems to ignore all settings and dump attachments on the desktop. I don't know of any solution.
