hey Dinu.D, i think i don't fully understand what you're trying to achieve here yet. as stated the temporary files in the folder are needed for proper operation as long as the browser is open (the etilqs files relate to the sqlite databases that firefox uses to store various data like your bookmarks). the files in the folder are cleared on firefox shutdown or if the application is idle for a certain amount of time - so there should be no need for manual intervention, as the files are purged anyway as soon as they are no longer needed...

hello, those files are necessary for the operation of firefox & as you have observed will be cleared after the closing of the firefox process automatically.
Hello philipp,
Thanks for the Information
I Have been using Mozilla Firefox for long time.I have a habit of deleting temp, prefetch, & browser history every time i use Mozilla.
I came across this temp file few months before. But this doesn't show in my personal laptop
Please find the attachment of the screenshot of my temp file from my personal computer

Those are temp files used by SQLite to allow normal functioning. There is nothing wrong with those files showing up, but make sure that you security (anti-virus) software isn't causing problems and keeps a lock on such files.
The prefix on temporary filenames on Windows is changed from "sqlite" to "etilqs"
Hi
Thanks for the information
I was worried about that, it appeared only in my official system PFA.

My temp files do not go away when I close FF. Are all of them really necessary? Like downloaded PDF documents. My downloaded items go into the downloads file, but also in the temp file.
