Firefox used to go to a link with one click. It now requires two. Reset twice but no change. help

On many websites links require a double click rather than, as it was, a single click. Apple, running maverick.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.

  • Switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance
  • Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window

Does OS X has any settings for the mouse that could cause this?

Can you try another mouse?
