Firefox looses all my tabs if I close it when a youtube video is stuck. is it accettable?

Posted

I saved in several groups almost 50 tabs. Yesterday I was searching for some videos on Youtube. When some video regularly seen, I select a video that seemed to wait too much to appear. I close firefox. After reopening it, it opened with a default page and I loose all my tabs in every group.

It's the second time in a month, a disappointing situation.

If the browser opens with the Firefox home page; about:home, you can press the Restore Last Session button on the bottom right.

You can also do this by Toolbar > History > Restore Last Session.

As to the video problem, can you redo your message? I could not understand it.

It sounds that there has been a problem with the sessionstore.js file and that this file hasn't been created.

You can check if there are numbered sessionstore-##.js files in the Firefox profile folder.

You can create a backup of the sessionstore.js file to avoid losing tab groups
