How can I recover closed tabs?
Twice today all my tabs except the one I'm in have just disappeared when I've gone to a new web page. It might be useful to know why, but I'd definitely like to know how I can get tabs back if it happens again. Two disappeared the first time, and for the next. Not happy!

Sorry to hear that. I don't have a solution. You may be able to find those pages in History and re-open them manually.
I noticed it is easily to accidentally close a tab with the Quick Gestures add-on. If you are using that one, you can modify its settings to turn that off.
For the future, I found two add-ons to "Undo closed tab" but neither of them worked for me. Perhaps this is due to the reorganization of the menu (adding the Page menu)? They appear to need an update.
Just in case:
Firefox for Android has two features that will switch away from all your regular tabs: private browsing and guest session. Your "regular" tabs reappear after you close the last private tab or exit the guest session.
