I have been using "Lists" in my address book to send multiple emails. There must have been an update recently since I can no longer get the lists to work (any of them) and I get an error I have never seen before, nor understand what I can change to use my lists.

PS I don't see a place to attach the screenshot of the error, but it says Invalid Recipient Address. I am using version 31.1.0

Thunderbird is only 32 bit. That is the correct choice.

V31 is broke. Numerous posts about your problem. Some with work arounds.

so if there are work arounds, is there a link or location to find the fix ... otherwise, this is just agreement that there is a problem

The quick fix is to go back to v24.6. Otherwise browse through the other threads and see what has been posted. One that I remember is to remove any spaces in the name of your lists. I have not upgraded to v31 yet. I never upgrade to new major versions until the bugs are worked out.

Thank you so much .. I did go to the v24.6 and find that it did cure the problem .. only other issue seems to be I am requested for the password twice still (another issue I didn't mention), BUT I can work with that and possibly get an earlier version than 24.6 at some point, but I can deal with it as is for now. I appreciate your help and expertise ... thank you and God bless you for your service to us all.

Couldn't find the v.24.6 but tried removing the space between words in the title of the list and this seems to work. Let's hope Mozilla fixes this bug or notifies all users of how to fix the problem!

Thank you!

Thank you for responding. While I probably could review my book to see if there are "spaces", I was able to locate and download the earlier version (24.6) and it has corrected the address book issue I posted. A reply from "Airmail" was posted and helped me to find the file I needed.

On to the next upgrade at some point maybe, but maybe I'll just live with this version for awhile.

Thank you again,
