How do I turn off the Safety Mode to allow me to watch Youtube.

Posted

Hi there! I'm using MSN 8.1 on a newish HP Pavilion 21. Youtube recently started telling me that it cannot display until I turn off the Safety Mode. It seemed to work fine in the past. Not sure what is going on. Thanks, Lp.

That is a feature of YouTube. See this - https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/174084?hl=en

"Safety Mode is an opt-in setting that helps screen out potentially objectionable content that you may prefer not to see or don't want others in your family to stumble across while enjoying YouTube. You can think of this as a parental control setting for YouTube."
