skype chat; add to Thunderbird please

in the thunderbird would love it you would add-in chat Skype please

the other IM chat and Facebook don't use them, most part my friend not on them at all. as for facebook chat it really bug me out how many time i have to log-in to use it, try it and totally hate it!

i have tons of friends on Skype so please add-in thunderbird with it!

Skype is a closed system that uses a proprietary protocol. It always has been and the situation didn't get any better when Microsoft acquired it. 

Do you know of any 3rd party chat clients that connect up Skype users?
