I exported everything to a file, reinstalled TB, and now want to restore from that file. How?

more options

Sending mail from TB bounces for many recipients. The returned mail message cites an IP address that is not my own (it seems to be a spammer in Germany). Why is that IP attached to my emails? Virus scans come up empty.

Thinking TB was corrupted, I saved all files with the export function, uninstalled, and re-installed TB. Now, how to I get the files back? The Import/Export tools option to import files is greyed out.

don are you talking about backscatter? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Backscatter_%28email%29

If you are, everyone will decline to help, as there is nothing that can be done really.

I updated the reinstalled TB, and everything came back. Seems the folders were not recognized by the older install file I used.

But my emails are still being corrupted by a different IP, this one located in Florida. Any ideas why or how to correct? My ISP declines to help.

There were two problems: one was indeed backscatter -- which is a nuisance but not serious. The second was how to restore all my folders after reinstalling TB. Turned out to be easy; after installing I updated to the latest version -- and all my folders came back! Must have been a different format that the earlier version couldn't read.

I'm happy for now, thank you.
