When I recently updated to the most recent update, the menubar changed to an ugly and hard to read blue color. It would be nice if the developers did not change things like that. Provide instructions for those who do want to change. Anyway, how do I change it back to the way it was?

Thanks.

The window colour is based on whatever theme and window appearance settings you use in your computer settings.

re: Anyway, how do I change it back to the way it was? I have no idea what you had before.

What options do you have? Look in your Computer Control Panel > Personalization

eg: I use Vista OS under 'Theme' I selected Windows Vista under 'windows color and appearance', I selected 'windows vista basic'

I do not use any Thunderbird addon theme, In Tools > Addons > Appearance icon

I only have default 31.0 the default theme.

If you want to use an Addon theme, try this link:

I had the standard color with TB. I guess the new release changed to use the windows colors. I also use the default theme. Maybe it was the theme that changed the color. Your write window is not bad. My color is a very dark blue.

I'll check out what you said and see what happens. Thanks.
