Like I said, I just needed a "default email client", and I assume that means a "WORKING" default email client. So tell us - what are you compatible with?

The more you ask the consumer questions they cannot possibly answer, the less userfriendly your thingus is. This should be your daily mantra!

You know I have absolutely no idea what your on about in this thread, except to form the view you think you will bully the forum into giving you answers that are readily available through the knowledge base or google..

So to address the issues you raise here.

Thunderbird is an application, just like Microsoft Word or Pagemaker. Thunderbird is not an app that runs in a browser. So your browser is totally irrelevant. You have already posted a reply to your own question on this thread so clearly that statement is false. Your mail from outlook.com will not appear in a support forum, unless you copy and paste them.

This is not a chat room where you get instant answers, it is a message based forum. It is staffed by volunteers that are users of Thunderbird that give their time freely. We try and help others and attitude is not something we are prepared to tolerate. In your other thread you indicates we should assume you know as much about email as we know about biotech. How about I assume then that your are capable of using Google as people with degrees in biotechnology fail if they are not capable of undertaking simple research.

Sorry, but posting a reply to my own question is currently beyond my ability! I could guess, but that's not quite scientific enough. And, certainly I don't want to introduce "faith-based software solutions", because that doesn't fulfill that pesky "knowledge requirement".

Apparently my e-mails from Outlook.com do not show up here, but should they? It's just me, myself and I in this grand forum.
