I am using thunder bird 24.6.0 , I am getting user name and password invalid and also configuration could not be verified - is the username and password wrong?

We are using thunder bird 24.6.0 , when i am trying to configure imap account for my exchange account , but i am getting error message it says username and password is invalid. But user name and password are correct .

Probably your server settings aren't correct. What account type are you trying to set-up? Note, the Exchange server needs to have POP or IMAP enabled.
