Is Firemin 2.0.8.2083 from FreewareFiles safe?
I have HP Pavilion zd8000 with Microsoft Windows XP Professional version 5.1.2600, IE7 which I practically do not use and Firefox (now 29.0.1) which I use. I also have Toshiba Satellite L755-S5349 with Windows 7 and just IE which “… stops working…” and Windows cannot fix the problem. So, I was going to somehow transfer Firefox or other browser to Toshiba, though do not know, so far, how to do it.
Recently, I had received FreewareFiles Express with Firemin 2.0.8.2083 described on its downloading page: <http://www.freewarefiles.com/Firemin_program_100063.html> classified as “Home > Internet > Browsers / Add-ons”.
Could you give me some advice as to possible harmful/destructive consequences of using the Firemin ?

Presumably you don't have any problems installing Firefox — simply get the installer from www.mozilla.org. If you want to transfer your personal data and settings, see
- Profiles - Where Firefox stores your bookmarks, passwords and other user data
- Recover important data from an old profile

- Firemin doesn't appear to be listed on the Firefox Add-ons site, so you install it at your own risk (Firefox Add-ons site FAQ).
- It decreases memory usage at the cost of decreasing performance and increasing CPU usage.
- If you're experiencing slow system performance while Firefox is running, see the following article. Otherwise, there's no reason to be concerned with whatever memory usage is listed in Task Manager and install third-party utilities to "fix" that.
