Can't display FoxClocks and heard there is no bottom bar in FF29. This is not an improvement. What was wrong with it?

Chosen solution

You can place FoxClocks on the Menu Bar, the Tab Bar, the Navigation Toolbar, or the Bookmarks Toolbar.

  1. Click the ≡ Menu Button and choose Add-ons, then Extensions.
  2. Next to FoxClocks, click the Options button.
  3. In the FoxClocks preferences window, open the Tools menu and choose Options.
  4. On the Position and Style tab, choose "Display in: A toolbar". Close the preferences windows when done.
  5. Restart Firefox.
  6. Right-click an empty area of the tab bar and choose Customize. Click the Show / Hide Toolbars button and make sure "Menu Bar" and/or "Bookmarks Toolbar" are checked, if you want to display those toolbars.
  7. Drag the FoxClocks icons on the toolbar of your choice. Click the Exit Customize button when done.

If you want a toolbar at the bottom of the screen, you need an add-on that provides a replacement add-on bar, like The Addon Bar, Status-4-Evar or Classic Theme Restorer.

OK the problem with this solution, as I've tried it before, is that it places the individual clocks in the Bookmarks Toolbar on top. I use the the Bookmarks Toolbar for, well, bookmarks. If you try to drag the clocks to the bottom toolbar, where it was before, it just bounces back to the top, where I don't want it. This is my frustration, and if I can't get it restored to the way it was, I'll have to dump it. Sometimes I think web designers, like those at Firefox, have what my mother used to call "itchy fingers." Sometimes it's best to leave things as they are, especially if no one's complaining. If you're bored, try to prove your worth to your empolyer some other way. (Not you personally, but whomever screws these things up for no good reason).

Thanks. Your last suggestions fixed the issue.
